Global platforms are built around GDPR. For a website serving Türkiye, several KVKK duties are not covered by GDPR defaults.

Where global CMPs fall short

KVKK Article 9 requires separate explicit consent for cross-border transfer, the 2022 KVKK Cookie Guide expects equal-prominence Accept and Reject buttons and plain Turkish disclosure, and VERBİS documentation needs a cookie inventory.
